BREAKING NEWS: Sanctuary Vocalist Warrel Dane Reportedly Passes Away

According to a report from Brazilian media site BOA Informacao, which you can check out right here, Sanctuary/ex-Nevermore vocalist Warrel Dane has passed away due to heart failure. The report cites guitarist Johnny Moraes, who was working with Dane in the production of his upcoming new solo record "Shadow Work" in Sao Paulo last night. Dane was suffering from diabetes due to alcohol consumption

Moraes is quoted as saying (translated): "He tonight had a heart attack. It was in the flat where he stayed for the recording of the record, when it happened. I got to do cardiac massage, we called the Samu, who arrived very fast, but when they arrived, he had already died."

The solo release was targeted for release in the 1st Quarter of 2018 via Century Media Records.

CROM Magazine stresses that there has been no confirmed reports from either Warrel Dane's camp, Sanctuary's camp or Century Media Records as of the posting of this article - and it reserves the right to revise, delete or change the contents as the situation unfolds.
