Italian hard rock act Lucky Bastardz signed on with Sliptrick Records for the release of the fourth studio album "Be The One," which is scheduled to drop on February 8, 2018.
The band was formed in Alexandria in 2008, adopting the slogan “Double-Kick Engine Rock’n’Roll” to describe the original musical style. The act is known for boundless energy and attitude, triggered both in the recording studio, but especially on stage. The group released the first two albums in 2009 ("Hated For Who We Are") and 2010 ("Bite Me, Dude") and in these and subsequent years had the opportunity to perform alongside superstars such as Anthrax, Obituary, Deicide, Belphegor, as well as many important Italian bands.
In 2015, after a line-up change, Lucky Bastardz released the album "Alwayz On The Run." The record marked the beginning of a major stylistic change which proved to be both a critical and sales success. Now, after another guitar line-up change, the band is back with with the most ambitious album so far - "Be The One."
More details on the album are expected soon.
