German traditional metal act Blackslash will release the new album "Lightning Strikes Again" on May 4th via Iron Shield Records, with distribution via Pure Steel Records.
Blackslash was founded in 2007 at Donaueschingen in the Black Forest of Germany and plays the metal your parents used to listen to - old school heavy metal! That’s what the five piece founded around bassist Alec Trojan stands for. By playing neck breaking concerts, the band gives evidence of that. The galloping bass is reminiscent of early Iron Maiden; two-part guitars let you travel time into the golden era of Thin Lizzy and the melodious singing of Clemens Haas takes control of your mind!
A faithful and steadily growing fanbase is astonished at every concert by the ease of Haas' guitar play, pushing his amps to the limit supported by fellow guitarist Daniel Hölderle. Meanwhile David Hofmeier tortures his drums to a climax of dynamic speed!
