Chicago forward-thinking death grind practitioners Immortal Bird will embark upon a U.S. mini tour alongside Denver blackened death outfit Glacial Tomb (Khemmis, ex-Abigail Williams). The band's latest journey will begin on June 7th in St. Louis, Missouri and ravage its way through ten cities, coming to a close on June 16th in Denver, Colorado.
Comments vocalist Rae Amitay, "This should be an awesome time, not just because Glacial Tomb is a ripping band, but because I get to spend another birthday on tour and end the run in the great state of Colorado. And we're playing with so many good bands! We've been writing new material and we'll be playing a lot of it at these shows, getting ready for the studio. This may be our last tour before we record."

Immortal Bird released the critically-lauded "Empress/Abscess" full-length in 2015. Tracked by Pete Grossmann (Weekend Nachos, Harm's Way, Dead In The Dirt) and mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Nader Sadek, Atheist, Origin etc.), the record was released via a collaborative effort with Broken Limbs Recordings (vinyl/cassette) and the band's own Manatee Rampage Recordings (CD/digital).
