Cruachan Releases Lyric Video For New Song 'Queen Of War'


One of the founding fathers of the folk metal genre celebrates its 25th anniversary in style in 2018. Ireland's Cruachan will release the new masterpiece "Nine Years of Blood" on April 27th through Trollzorn Records. Pre-order the album over at this location. The album will be available as a limited boxset, limited gatefold LP, DigiCD and as a digital download.

These pioneers of folk metal have been on the go for a quarter of a century and are one of the most consistently highly rated bands in the folk metal genre. Since 1992, the clan of Irish warriors has been making folk metal with a blackened edge, led by founding member, guitarist and vocalist – Keith Fay. Like a good wine Cruachan just gets better and better and this is evident on the eighth studio album.
