Spanish melodic death metal band Dormanth released a video clip for the song “Like Ice,” which you can check out in the player above. The song appears on the latest album “IX Sins," which was released last month thru Dead Sheep Productions, Base Record Production and Necromance Records.
Dormanth was born in Bilbao in January 1993 after various experiences of its components in different bands, such as Nopresion (Oscar del Val), Beer Mosh (Javi Martínez) and Elbereth (Maciej Zienkiewicz). After finalizing the lineup with Jorge Elizalde (Bass & Vocals) and Santi G. Mendezona (Guitar), the band recorded the self-produced demo “Sadness” in January 1994, which sold out and opened up several doors, allowing the band to play steady live gigs throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
A year later, the band took a leap and record the debut album "Valley Of Dreams," which established it as one of the Spain's rising stars in the extreme metal scene. Following a period of playing gigs, problems arose within the core of the band and the drummer was replaced. Three members (Jorge, Santi and Oscar) decided to continue playing, but in 1996 the group ceased its activity, but came back on the scene in 2015. That year, the band issued the "Voice of the Soul..." EP, which was recorded as an anniversary gift for fans of the band, who demanded a return to the stage.
