Sahon Returns With New Album 'Chanting For The Fallen'

South Korean thrash metal band Sahon has returned with its first new album in five years - "Chanting For The Fallen" - which is set for release on July 15th via Transcending Obscurity Records. The album's first single "At The Edge Of A Cliff" is available for streaming in the player above.

Sahon has been waging a war against stereotypes since the late '90s, forging a sound that distills the best elements of extreme metal into a form of thrash metal that holds its own when pitted against the rest. The new release encapsulates the struggle over the years and showcases an affinity for the band's culture and music. From the quaint painting to the very structuring of these aggressive songs, Sahon is proud of the Korean heritage and that is what makes them unique today.

The album's track listing and artwork can be found here:

1. Faith of Savagery 2. At The Edge Of Cliff 3. Survive 4. Condemnation 5. Charge Till The End 6. Born To Lose Live To Win 7. Joy Of Hatred 8. You Shall Pay
