Mindreaper has been enriching the German underground scene for over 10 years with traditional, melodic-thrashy death metal. After the successful debut album "Human Edge (... to the Abyss)," the second album from the Hessians should cause some neck pains among friends of the harder metal. As with the previous album, the band continues with "Mirror Construction (...A Disordered World)" the collaboration with Andy Classen at StageOne Studio (Requiem, Krisiun, Varg). Under his leadership, the band recorded 10 new songs, which he produced and mastered, guaranteeing first-class sound. The songs are all performed with a high technical level without reinventing the musical wheel. Over the album's 46 minutes there is traditional genre trademarks with neckbreaking riffs, catchy melodies and angry steamroller parts, which impressively document the maturing process of the quartet in the last years. The album artwork (shown below) was made by Björn Gooßes/Killustration (Odium, Kataklysm, The Crown), who once again succeeded in creating a graphically high-quality rendition of the album title.
